What does pest control services cost?
Pest control services vary based on type of service (insect, rodent, wildlife), complexity of the pest issue, and the environment that the task needs to be performed in. For example, bed bug extermination for an entire house would be quoted at a higher rate than a 1 bedroom condo. We cannot provide a fixed quote without knowing all the details of your pest issue. We ask for images and full details before providing a transparent pest control service quote.
How many treatments or visits does it take to rid of pests?
It usually takes 1-2 treatments for bed bugs, cockroaches, and wasps. For rodents, it may take 2+ monthly visits to see any change in rodent activity. For wildlife, it is 2 visits usually, one for proofing and a follow up to see if anything was captured for removal. All these pest issues can be compounded over time by surrounding environments outside of our control (such as inhabitant and surrounding building residents/cleaning habits) so we provide prevention tips free of charge to maximize the chance of success. As mentioned earlier, success is control of the pest problem but there needs to be a change of habits for long-term pest prevention.
What is the difference between residential and commercial pest control?
Residential covers any dwellings inhabited by humans as a living space. In the residential setting, there can be insect, rodent, and wildlife problems depending on lifestyle and living habits of the inhabitants.
Commercial covers businesses (restaurants, malls, retail) dealing with no fixed inhabitants but instead individuals going in and out constantly to conduct a transaction. Pests can enter through building gaps and/or individuals bringing them in from their homes. Commercial can have very similar insect, rodent, and wildlife issues but at a much larger scale due to the property size.
